Attach a receipt to a transaction
I would like to attach a receipt or invoice to a transaction. If for example I bought a new television, I would like to store the receipt in Cake. If ever I would need the receipt, I would be able to easily find it.

yes please add this functionality and the possibility to store the files on your cloud as backup/export ie Google drive, Dropbox or through our own webdav connection

I would like to attach a receipt to a transaction. This would allow me to store important receipts to my transaction (for example, as a proof of warranty).

Possible extra feature (especially for groceries): Read the receipt/invoice in order to have better insights in what I'm buying exactly.

It would be amazing if this would be possible in 1 app!
> In this case Cake can be my Swiss Army Knife App. The bank apps always stay bank apps... Cake seems to be more a financial app that connects with the prupose of money: spending or investing! There are so many retail apps. It would be nice if Cake can be the one size fits all... -

Agreed. A few stores already store a copy of your receipt online (Colruyt) and don't give you a paper printout by default (AH). Others handle warranty completely digital, with a proof of purchase linked to your eID (MediaMarkt).

Receipts should be added automatically by the store. The transaction is electronic but I need to keep a piece of paper to prove purchase ? Archaic !
