I agree this feature would not be useful to the large public.

For me it would be very helpfull for two reasons (which may indeed be insufficient to include in the app)
    1) I want to figure out what my asset allocation was at a certain time in the past. Knowing how much money there was on a certain account on a certain time is important for being able to do that. (Total worth and the ratios between accounts per timestamp)
    2) I can see the volatility (aka the shark pattern) for a certain account I use as a buffer. This makes it easier for deciding the max cap for that account.

Again, A lot of mentioned features would indeed be more essential to the app.

    Example

You get a weekly pop up poll (when turned on in settings)

the poll asks 3 things you can choose from, let's say the majority voted for "how did people spend less on internet"

the question is forwarded to the people who belong to the group who spend less on internet: did you spend less on internet without comprimising in data? How did you do it?

this answer is posted in the answer feed wall only visible on sunday, with a up- and downvoting system.

and next week it starts all over again. (archive could be kept for tips that are always actual like general saving tips.)

Tip to prevent app annoyance: When people don't interact with this option ask them to disable the option.

This is an excellent suggestion, but we will not add it into the planning of the roadmap yet.

Once this receives a sufficient amount of votes, we will revisit this idea.

    To be continued…

We are currently not planning on doing this integration. If more people vote for this feature, we might reconsider it.

Also, make sure to comment with possible useful scenarios if you want this feature!

We are currently not planning to make a desktop version of Cake.

As a start-up, our resources are unfortunately limited… and we still have a lot of core features to build.

We will revisit this decision in a later timeframe.

Let's say your goal is a 30% savings rate, you then let Cake create an automatic budget for you by raising your budget for 70% of the money that comes in and subtracting it with the money that you spend.

Aslo recommend the amount needed as buffer in the budget based on data (beacause you don't receive your paycheck at the beginning of the month. You also sometimes spend a lot in one month)

Show the savings rate for current month, last month etc..

    Show the average savings rate

Show suggestions how to reach savings rate goal (for ex. 50%) by looking into data from people who already achieved this savings rate.

The European Bank Authority (EBA) has clarified to the banks that access to credit cards should be provided under the existing PSD2 legislation.

We’re expecting the first banks to start providing access the credit cards in early 2022.

The current PSD2 legislation – which allows Cake to connect to current accounts – currently doesn’t support investment accounts.

We have accordingly parked this idea.

It would be nice to be able to track the growth of your investment fund. For example with Degiro.

This way you can also implement a "passive income' category that counts rent, dividends and "increases in stock prices" as passive income.
